Tasting Notes:
Perfumed with nettle ripe tropical fruits which are also evident on the palate along with limey flavours and a rich minerality - classic Marlborough Sauvignon. The wine is sappy fresh, clean and delicious.
About the wine:
The wines are made from grapes grown at 3 vineyard sites between the Waihope and the Awatere valleys. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately pressed and put into Stainless steel tanks for a long cool fermentation to ensure maximum freshness and varietal extraction. After fermentation the wine is filtered and bottled as soon as possible to retain the freshness and aromatic characteristic.
About the Producer:
The Cloud Factory Sauvingon Blanc is produced by New Zealand wine maker Ant Moore in conjunction with Robin Naylor. The vineyards all enjoy a cooler climate ideal for the Sauvignon Blanc grapes.
