Tom I'Anson
I was lucky enough to grow up in the Cotswolds, leaving after school to study for an Architectural degree in Edinburgh.
I started my formal wine education whilst studying in Edinburgh. Although my course required me to gain architectural knowledge working in various placements with architectural firms, I branched out and went to work for Justerini & Brooks Fine Wine Merchants, much to the chagrin of some of my tutors.
It was with Justerini & Brooks that I first really cut my teeth; gaining good experience, lifelong friends and some qualifications along the way.
After Justerini & Brooks, I finished my degree and moved into property development and project management. All the while though, I kept attending and hosting regular tastings with friends I'd acquired through my days with Justerini & Brooks.
These regular tastings with friends allowed me access to a large range of great wines and a wealth of tasting experience.
It was a beautiful new niece and the lure of the Cotswolds that made me decide to come home and set up Tom I'Anson Wines Ltd.
Tom I'Anson Wines Ltd. is now established in Colesbourne near Cheltenham. From my premises here, I am able to serve my clients, run and regularly update the website, store my stock and enjoy the beautiful Cotswolds.
